Michael Earl Costello, age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 18, 2011, surrounded by his family, at University Hospital.
Michael was born in Geneva, NY and raised in Corning, NY. He was a resident of Liverpool, NY for 35 years.
Michael attended the U.S. Naval Academy in 1966, Corning Community College and graduated from Syracuse University. After over 35 years, Michael retired from Crucible Steel as the vice president of accounting and finance.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Connie (Geer); three children, Kristie, Craig and Andrew; daughter-in-law, Heather (Bowen); and granddaughter, Chloe.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rt. 31, Baldwinsville. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
